  • Origin: Source of the data collection (Scheduler)
  • Location: Physical or logical location of the device (Bare Metal)
  • Metric/Parameter: Type of data being measured (includes Rx Bytes, Tx Bytes, Rx Error Bytes, and Tx Error Bytes)
  • Result: Actual metric values showing byte measurements including 0.0 Bytes and larger values like 17,306,270,485.0 Bytes
  • Organization: Associated organization (zzi)

Filter Panel (Right Sidebar)

The filter panel is positioned on the right side with the following elements:

  • Active Filters: Shows currently applied filters with "Proceed" status indicator at the top

Data Displayed

Metric Types

  • Rx Bytes: Received data volume measurements
  • Tx Bytes: Transmitted data volume measurements
  • Rx Error Bytes: Received error bytes tracking
  • Tx Error Bytes: Transmitted error bytes tracking

Device Integration

The system tracks metrics from various infrastructure elements including:

  • VyOS Innovation [WAG] devices with VyOS WAG configurations
  • Bare Metal infrastructure deployments

Data Volumes

The system tracks data ranging from:

  • 0.0 Bytes: Minimal or no data transfer
  • Large byte measurements: Including entries like 17,306,270,485.0 Bytes, 17,173,158,225.0 Bytes, 17,306,034,303.0 Bytes
  • Error tracking: Monitoring error bytes across transmission types

Temporal Data

  • All entries are timestamped with precise date and time information
  • Data spans multiple time periods for historical analysis
  • Recent entries from January 3, 2026 are displayed with times ranging from 07:37 to 07:47

Actions Available

Primary Actions

  • Filter Metrics: Apply various filters to narrow down displayed data
  • Export Data: Download metric information for external use using the blue export button
  • Generate Reports: Create formatted reports from selected metrics using the blue reports button
  • Search Records: Use the search function with magnifying glass icon to find specific entries
  • Paginate Results: Navigate through large datasets using page controls

Administrative Actions

  • Monitor Real-time Data: View live metric updates as they occur
  • Analyze Trends: Compare historical data across different time periods
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Identify anomalies or errors in data transmission
  • Track Network Performance: Monitor byte transfer and error rates across devices

Notes/Tips

Performance Optimization

  • Use specific filters to reduce large dataset load times
  • Consider exporting data for complex analysis rather than processing in-browser
  • The default "Last hour" filter helps focus on recent activity

Data Interpretation

  • 0.0 Results: May indicate device connectivity issues, scheduled downtime, or no data transfer activity
  • Large Data Volumes: High byte counts may suggest heavy usage or potential data anomalies
  • Error Bytes: Non-zero error byte values may indicate network issues requiring attention

Best Practices

  • Regularly monitor byte transfer metrics to maintain optimal network performance
  • Use the organization filter when managing multi-tenant environments
  • Export historical data periodically for long-term trend analysis and compliance reporting
  • Monitor both Rx and Tx metrics to understand bidirectional data flow
  • Track error bytes to identify and resolve network transmission issues
  • Monitor VyOS Innovation [WAG] device performance for VyOS WAG configurations
