Transaction Metrics
The "Successful Transactions Per Type" chart shows:
- Peak Activity: Multiple transaction types reaching approximately 1,400 transactions during peak periods
- Transaction Types: Color-coded lines representing different authentication flows with Post-login trigger (blue), Auto-login (green), User capture (dark), Authenticate (red), Login (gray), and Email validation (orange)
- Time Range: Extended period from Jan 1 4:00 pm through Jan 2 2:00 pm
- Volume Range: Approximately 0-1,600 transactions per time interval
- Notable Pattern: Activity shows initial levels around 1,000 transactions, peaks reaching approximately 1,400 around Jan 1 8:00 pm, followed by decline through overnight hours to minimum levels around 200 transactions, then recovery with activity rising to approximately 1,400-1,500 transactions on Jan 2 around 2:00 pm
User Activity Patterns
The "New and Existing Users" chart displays:
- Existing Users (light blue line): Higher volume, ranging 0-800 users with cyclical pattern
- New Users (dark blue line): Lower volume, ranging 0-700 users following similar trends
- Activity Trends: Both metrics show cyclical patterns with initial activity around 550 for existing users and 500 for new users, peak activity reaching approximately 700 users for existing users during peak periods around Jan 1 8:00 pm, followed by overnight decline to minimal levels around 100-150 users, then recovery with both metrics rising to approximately 650-700 users on Jan 2 around 2:00 pm

Notes/Tips
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor transaction peaks to identify high-usage periods and capacity planning needs
- Track the ratio of new vs. existing users for growth analysis
- Use CSV exports for detailed offline analysis and reporting
- Observe cyclical patterns indicating regular user behavior with notable peaks and valleys
Best Practices
- Enable auto-refresh during active monitoring sessions
- Regularly check different time ranges to identify trends
- Cross-reference summary statistics with chart data for validation
- Monitor cyclical patterns for understanding user behavior and capacity planning
- Pay attention to sharp peaks and drops which may indicate system events or user activity patterns
System Status
- The dashboard shows data for a development environment (gate-dev.zequenze.com)
- All metrics represent real-time or near-real-time data
- Color-coded legends help distinguish between different transaction types and user categories
- Current data shows healthy cyclical patterns with regular user activity, natural fluctuations, and distinct peak periods
