Overview

The Device Inventory page in the Zequenze Control Portal provides a comprehensive view of all managed devices across your network infrastructure. This centralized interface displays device status, configuration details, and organizational hierarchy in both tabular and map-based views.

Top Navigation Bar

  • Device Selection Dropdown: "SELECT DEVICE TO CHANGE" allows switching between managed devices
  • Breadcrumb Navigation: Home > Inventory > Devices path for easy navigation
  • User Account: Displays logged-in user (jpenaa@zequenze.com) with organization assignment

Main Content Area

  • View Toggle Tabs: Switch between "Basic" (table view) and "Status map" (geographic view)
  • Search Bar: Global search functionality across all device attributes

    • Bulk delete (X button)

Interactive Map View

  • Geographic Display: Shows device locations across multiple continents including North America, Africa, and the Middle East
  • Location Markers: Red markers indicating device positions with visible markers in Mexico and Nigeria regions
  • Map Controls:
    • Zoom in/out buttons
    • Style selector (emerald-v8 theme)
    • Reset button for map view
    • Fullscreen toggle

Device Data Table

Displays comprehensive device information in columns:

  • Name: Device identifier with clickable links
  • Status: Real-time operational status (Up/Down with color indicators)
  • Profile: Device configuration profile type (Mikrotik RouterOS, ZG9V9-Zequenze ONT, Dual radio WiFi AP, etc.)
  • Serial: Hardware serial numbers
  • SW Version: Current software/firmware version
  • Child Devices: Count of subordinate devices (showing "-" for no child devices)
  • Organization: Organizational assignment (Zequenze)

Right Panel Filters

  • Collapsed Filter Panel: The filter panel is now collapsed on the right side of the interface, showing a compact view with only key elements visible
  • Filter Toggle: Shows the word "FILTER" with a counter badge (0) and a close button (×) in the collapsed state
  • Proceed Button: Blue "Proceed" button remains prominently displayed at the top of the collapsed filter panel
  • Minimized Display: When collapsed, the filter panel takes up minimal horizontal space, maximizing the device table viewing area

User Interactions

Primary Actions

  1. Device Selection: Click on device names to view detailed configuration
  2. Status Monitoring: Visual status indicators provide immediate operational overview
  3. Search and Filter: Use search bar and collapsed filter panel for targeted device discovery
  4. Map Navigation: Interact with geographic map to locate devices spatially, with zoom and fullscreen capabilities
  5. Bulk Operations: Select multiple devices for group actions

Map Interactions

  • Zoom Controls: Use + and - buttons to adjust map zoom level
  • Style Selection: Change map appearance using the style dropdown
  • Reset View: Return to default map positioning
  • Fullscreen Mode: Toggle fullscreen display for better map visibility

Filter Interactions

  • Collapsed Filter Panel: The filter panel is currently collapsed, showing a space-efficient interface:
    • Filter Toggle: Click the "FILTER" text or expand button to open the full filter panel
    • Filter Counter: The badge shows "0" indicating no active filters are currently applied
    • Proceed Action: The blue "Proceed" button remains accessible even in collapsed state
    • Close Option: Use the close button (×) to completely hide the filter panel
  • Panel Management: Click to expand the filter panel to access comprehensive filtering options including status, profile, device class, organization, and other criteria

Secondary Actions

  • Data Export: Export filtered device lists for external analysis
  • Report Generation: Create custom reports based on current view
  • Device Import: Bulk device addition via import functionality

Data Displayed

Device Information

  • Operational Status: Real-time up/down status with visual indicators (showing mix of Up and Down devices)
  • Hardware Details: Serial numbers (HCQ08DN739Q, ZTEGD8854D31, ZTEGD8831103, etc.), device models, firmware versions
  • Network Configuration: Profile assignments (Mikrotik RouterOS, ZG9V9-Zequenze ONT, OpenWRT based dual radio WiFi access point, etc.) and network parameters
  • Organizational Structure: Parent-child relationships and organizational assignments (Zequenze organization)

Status Indicators

  • 🔴 Red Circle: Device is down or unreachable (visible on multiple devices including ZTEGD8854D31, ZTEGD8831103, etc.)
  • 🟢 Green Circle: Device is operational and responsive (visible on E4RDBCHCQ08DN739Q device)
  • Blue Links: Clickable elements for detailed views

Individual Device Actions

  • View Details: Click device name for comprehensive device information
  • Status Monitoring: Real-time operational status tracking
  • Profile Management: View and modify device configuration profiles

Bulk Operations

  • Multi-device Selection: Select multiple devices for group operations
  • Data Export: Export device lists in various formats
  • Import New Devices: Bulk device addition and configuration
  • Report Generation: Create custom reports based on filtered data

Administrative Functions

  • Add New Device: Manual device addition and configuration
  • Delete Devices: Remove devices from management (bulk delete available)
  • Collapsed Filter Management: The collapsed filter panel provides streamlined access to filtering options:
    • Quick Access: The "Proceed" button remains available for immediate filter application
    • Filter Status: The counter badge (0) shows the number of active filters at a glance
    • Panel Expansion: Click the "FILTER" label to expand and access comprehensive filtering options including status, profile, device class, organization, child devices, active alerts, and pagination controls
    • Space Efficiency: Collapsed state maximizes device table visibility while keeping filter functionality accessible
    • Panel Toggle: Use the close button (×) to completely hide the filter panel or expand it to access full filtering capabilities

Notes/Tips

  • Status Colors: Red indicators require immediate attention; green indicates normal operation
  • Pagination: Navigate through 174 total results using pagination controls at the bottom of the table
  • Map View: Switch to Status map tab for geographic device distribution visualization with full interactive capabilities across global locations
  • Filter Panel: The filter panel is collapsed, maximizing table view space - click "FILTER" to expand and access all filtering options, or use the "Proceed" button for quick filter application
  • Filter Status: The badge counter (0) indicates no active filters are currently applied to the device list
  • Real-time Updates: Page displays live status information; refresh periodically for latest data
