## Overview

The Device Inventory page in the Zequenze CONTROL Portal provides a comprehensive view of all managed devices across your network infrastructure. This centralized interface displays device status, configuration details, and organizational hierarchy in both tabular and map-based views.

## Key Features

- **Dual View Options**: Toggle between Basic table view and Status map view for different perspectives on device data
- **Interactive Map**: Geographic visualization showing device locations with status indicators
- **Real-time Status Monitoring**: Live status updates for all devices with color-coded indicators
- **Advanced Filtering**: Multi-criteria filtering system for refined device searches
- **Bulk Operations**: Import/export capabilities and bulk device management
- **Hierarchical Organization**: View devices organized by sub-organizations and groups

## UI Elements

### Top Navigation Bar
- **Device Selection Dropdown**: "SELECT DEVICE TO CHANGE" allows switching between managed devices
- **Breadcrumb Navigation**: Home > Inventory > Devices path for easy navigation
- **User Account**: Displays logged-in user (jpenaa@zequenze.com) with organization assignment

### Main Content Area
- **View Toggle Tabs**: Switch between "Basic" (table view) and "Status map" (geographic view)
- **Search Bar**: Global search functionality across all device attributes
- **Action Buttons**:
  - Import devices
  - Export data
  - Reports
  - Add new devices
  - Bulk delete (X button)

### Interactive Map View
- **Geographic Display**: Shows device locations across multiple continents including North America, Africa, and the Middle East
- **Location Markers**: Red markers indicating device positions with visible markers in Mexico and Nigeria regions
- **Map Controls**: 
  - Zoom in/out buttons
  - Style selector (emerald-v8 theme)
  - Reset button for map view
  - Fullscreen toggle

### Device Data Table
Displays comprehensive device information in columns:
- **Name**: Device identifier with clickable links
- **Status**: Real-time operational status (Up/Down with color indicators)
- **Profile**: Device configuration profile type (Mikrotik RouterOS, ZG9V9-Zequenze ONT, Dual radio WiFi AP, etc.)
- **Serial**: Hardware serial numbers
- **SW Version**: Current software/firmware version
- **Child Devices**: Count of subordinate devices (showing "-" for no child devices)
- **Organization**: Organizational assignment (Zequenze)

### Right Panel Filters
The filter panel is now expanded on the right side of the interface, displaying comprehensive filtering options:

- **Filter Header**: Shows "FILTER" with a counter badge (0) and a close button (×) to collapse the panel
- **Proceed Button**: Prominent blue "Proceed" button at the top for applying selected filters
- **Filter Sections**:
  - **Active filters**: Displays "5 Hidden" with a "Proceed" button for managing hidden filter criteria
  - **Active alert**: Dropdown menu set to "Any or no date/time" for filtering by alert status
  - **Records per page**: Dropdown selector set to "50 records" for pagination control
  - **Childs**: Multi-select dropdown with "Click for options" placeholder
  - **Status**: Dropdown filter set to "All" for device status filtering
  - **Profile**: Multi-select dropdown with "Click for options" placeholder for filtering by device profile
  - **Device class**: Multi-select dropdown with "Click for options" placeholder
  - **Organization**: Multi-select dropdown with "Click for options" placeholder and "Sub-organizations" checkbox below
- **Action Button**: Blue "Proceed" button at the bottom of the filter panel for applying all selected filters

## User Interactions

### Primary Actions
1. **Device Selection**: Click on device names to view detailed configuration
2. **Status Monitoring**: Visual status indicators provide immediate operational overview
3. **Search and Filter**: Use search bar and expanded filter panel for targeted device discovery
4. **Map Navigation**: Interact with geographic map to locate devices spatially, with zoom and fullscreen capabilities
5. **Bulk Operations**: Select multiple devices for group actions

### Map Interactions
- **Zoom Controls**: Use + and - buttons to adjust map zoom level
- **Style Selection**: Change map appearance using the style dropdown
- **Reset View**: Return to default map positioning
- **Fullscreen Mode**: Toggle fullscreen display for better map visibility

### Filter Interactions
- **Expanded Filter Panel**: The filter panel is currently expanded, showing comprehensive filtering options:
  - **Filter Toggle**: Click the close button (×) in the header to collapse the filter panel
  - **Filter Counter**: The badge shows "0" indicating no active filters are currently applied to the visible filter options
  - **Hidden Filters**: "5 Hidden" indicator shows additional filter criteria that are currently hidden from view
  - **Active Alert Filtering**: Select date/time criteria for filtering devices by active alerts
  - **Pagination Control**: Adjust the number of records displayed per page (currently set to 50 records)
  - **Multi-criteria Filtering**: Use dropdown menus to filter by Childs, Status, Profile, Device class, and Organization
  - **Sub-organization Option**: Enable checkbox to include sub-organizations in the organization filter
  - **Proceed Action**: Click the blue "Proceed" button (available at both top and bottom of panel) to apply selected filters
- **Panel Management**: Click the close button (×) to collapse the filter panel and maximize table viewing area

### Secondary Actions
- **Data Export**: Export filtered device lists for external analysis
- **Report Generation**: Create custom reports based on current view
- **Device Import**: Bulk device addition via import functionality

## Data Displayed

### Device Information
- **Operational Status**: Real-time up/down status with visual indicators (showing mix of Up and Down devices)
- **Hardware Details**: Serial numbers (HCQ08DN739Q, ZTEGD8854D31, ZTEGD8831103, etc.), device models, firmware versions
- **Network Configuration**: Profile assignments (Mikrotik RouterOS, ZG9V9-Zequenze ONT, OpenWRT based dual radio WiFi access point, etc.) and network parameters
- **Organizational Structure**: Parent-child relationships and organizational assignments (Zequenze organization)

### Status Indicators
- 🔴 **Red Circle**: Device is down or unreachable (visible on multiple devices including ZTEGD8854D31, ZTEGD8831103, etc.)
- 🟢 **Green Circle**: Device is operational and responsive (visible on E4RDBCHCQ08DN739Q device)
- **Blue Links**: Clickable elements for detailed views

## Actions Available

### Individual Device Actions
- **View Details**: Click device name for comprehensive device information
- **Status Monitoring**: Real-time operational status tracking
- **Profile Management**: View and modify device configuration profiles

### Bulk Operations
- **Multi-device Selection**: Select multiple devices for group operations
- **Data Export**: Export device lists in various formats
- **Import New Devices**: Bulk device addition and configuration
- **Report Generation**: Create custom reports based on filtered data

### Administrative Functions
- **Add New Device**: Manual device addition and configuration
- **Delete Devices**: Remove devices from management (bulk delete available)
- **Expanded Filter Management**: The expanded filter panel provides comprehensive filtering capabilities:
  - **Quick Access**: Two "Proceed" buttons (top and bottom of panel) for immediate filter application
  - **Filter Status**: The counter badge (0) shows the number of visible active filters, with "5 Hidden" indicating additional hidden filter criteria
  - **Multi-criteria Selection**: Filter by Active alert (date/time), Status (All/Up/Down), Profile types, Device class, Child devices, and Organization
  - **Pagination Control**: Adjust records per page (50 records default) for optimal table viewing
  - **Hierarchical Filtering**: Enable "Sub-organizations" checkbox to include sub-organization devices in results
  - **Panel Collapse**: Use the close button (×) to collapse the panel and maximize device table space
  - **Hidden Filters**: Access to 5 additional hidden filter criteria through the "5 Hidden" section at the top

## Notes/Tips

- **Status Colors**: Red indicators require immediate attention; green indicates normal operation
- **Pagination**: Navigate through 175 total results using pagination controls at the bottom of the table
- **Map View**: Switch to Status map tab for geographic device distribution visualization with full interactive capabilities across global locations
- **Filter Panel**: The filter panel is expanded, showing comprehensive filtering options including Active alert, Records per page, Status, Profile, Device class, Organization, and Childs filters
- **Filter Status**: The badge counter (0) indicates no visible active filters, while "5 Hidden" shows additional filter criteria available
- **Pagination Control**: Adjust the "Records per page" setting to view more or fewer devices per page (currently set to 50 records)
- **Real-time Updates**: Page displays live status information; refresh periodically for latest data
- **Map Navigation**: Use fullscreen mode for detailed geographic analysis of device distribution across continents
- **Device Types**: The inventory includes RouterOS devices, ONT devices, WiFi Access Points, and various network appliances with different software versions
- **Filter Application**: Click the "Proceed" button (available at top and bottom of filter panel) to apply your selected filter criteria
